Our November Camp out was at the Laxton Farm. Attending was Steven L, Hayden P, Brandon P, Noah T, Cole M, Bryce C, Ethan S, with Leaders Adrian, Corey, John, and Lonnie on Friday night. We camped on the point, overlooking the lake. Saturday we rappelled off the cliffs near the water falls. Hayden and Steven had set up 3 different courses, at 3 different levels of difficulty. 1 was kind of a bunny hill so to speak. It was mainly for the boys who had not gone before to get comfortable with the mechanics of rappelling. The second set of ropes and the third set of ropes only differed in the fact that the third set of ropes had an overhang right at the top, making the first couple of feet (which is the most difficult part anyway) very hard. The weather was terrific. Brandon was the camp cook with Noah as his helper. Brandon prepared foil dinners for Sat. night and pancakes with sausage for breakfast.
