Foster Falls

Our camp out for March 11-12, 2011 was at Foster Falls, located in Tracy City at the edge of Marion County. We joined Troop 842 from Murfreesboro for this activity. Attending from Troop 313 were Ethan S, Brandon P, Graham P, Hayden P, Cole M, Harrison H, and Bryce C. Leaders were Alender H, Adrian H, and Corey S. From Troop 842, attending were Blake S, Andrew S, Cayden P, Parker P, Joseph P, Lucas, Zach P, and Emmerson B. Leaders were Eric P, Bro Peacock?, and Steve S. We camped at the top of the falls in one of the designated primative campsights. On Saturday, we hiked to the bottom of the cliffs and spent the day rock climbing. Hayden P was primarily in charge of the ropes, safety, and equipement with Cole and Graham assisting. The temperatures were about 35-45 degrees at night and between 55-70 in the day. Some would say, not quite warm enough to go swimming in a cold mountain stream, others went anyway.
